Mysuru: In the wake of Covid–19, the Mysuru district police have issued strict guidelines to all the stations under its jurisdiction to ensure the safety of its men in khaki and contain the virus spread.
SP CB Rhyshyanth told mediapersons here on Tuesday that random check-up of policemen has been done at Hunsur and KR Nagar limits. To ensure their safety, 10-point guidelines have been issued that should be strictly adhered to during the crime investigation, court handling and also managing the station, he said.
He further said that Nanjangud is now a containment–free zone. The highways that were diverted during the initial stages of lockdown have now been relaxed. However, borders are on strict vigil, especially all the entries at Bavali check post are being monitored. Besides, registration on Seva Sindhu too is being monitored, he added.
