Covid-19: Private hospitals warned against hiding patients details

Mysuru: As the district is witnessing more Covid-19 cases, the District Health Officer Dr R Venkatesh has directed private hospitals to provide complete details of the patients they admit.
The government has now given a go-ahead to private health care establishments to treat Covid-19 patients. He directed them not to hide any details about the patients.
Addressing the media here on Monday, DHO Venkatesh said “with the increase in Covid-19 cases, Corona warriors are being at risk”.
He said the Corona warriors have been asked to take precautionary measures. Those who visit with symptoms of sneezing and fever should report to the district health office, mandatorily, he said.
Meanwhile, nine containment zones have been declared in the city. More may be added to the list, he added.
