Covid-19: KRRS calls BSY government failure in ensuring lockdown

1 min read

Mysuru: Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) called the State government a failure in ensuring lockdown in the State.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday, KRRS president Badagalapura Nagendra came down heavily on the Yediyurappa led government stating the number of Covid-19 cases are increasing by the day but the government is misleading people by making confused statements.

He further alleged that the lockdown norms are not implemented in the State. “They promised to allow vehicles carrying agri goods, but it is not implemented in letter and spirit,” he complained.

On Jubilant Generics Limited being the epicentre of Covid-19 in Mysuru district, Nagendra alleged that the company is misleading people by not providing facts on how the virus spread in their campus. He demanded a thorough investigation into this.

KRRS takes dig at MP Simha

KRRS president Badagalapura Nagendra wondered why Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha was batting for Jubilant Generics Limited, Nanjangud, that has become the source for spread of Covid-19 in the district.

“Nanjangud does not come under his constituency. It falls in Chamarajnagar Parliamentary constituency. Why is MP Pratap Simha is interfering anyway. His motive raises several doubts,” he said.
