Mysuru: In what could be termed as a ray of hope to Mysuru that’s battling the rising number of Covid-19 cases, the first person from the Jubilant Generics Limited who had tested positive has been discharged after recovery on Friday. However, he has been advised home quarantine.

The pharmaceutical firm employee (P52) had tested positive on March 26. The fact that P52 had no history of travelling abroad or having any contacts with the foreign nationals yet him contracting the virus has become s mystery, till now.
After that a flurry of positive cases followed from the same campus giving rise to many theories. While the investigation is on, P52 has been discharged from the hospital. He has been advised 14-day home quarantine.
However, sadly though, his wife and father-in-law have been infected and are in isolation wards.
Meanwhile, the P52 has penned a thanking note to all the medical staff and the district administration.
He has also appealed to the public to follow government guidelines to stay away from being infected with the virus.
