Covid-19: B Kodagalli completely sealed down after 4 test positive

Mandya: After four persons, who attended the funeral of a man, tested positive for Covid-19, the taluk administration has now sealed down B Kodagahalli.
The non-descript village in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district is all over the news today after four from a family tested positive forcing the administration to seal the village.
The four infected are two women, a two-year-old child and a man. They had attended the funeral of a man who had died of cardiac arrest in Mumbai. They had brought the body to B Kodagalli and cremated on April 24.
The infected have been identified as man’s family members including his daughter, son and a grandchild of whose body they had brought from Mumbai.
The taluk administration had utterly failed in ensuring proper protocol to conduct the funeral like wearing the PPE.
Now, the taluk administration has sealed down Kodagalli village of Melukote hobli.
