Covid-19: Avadhoota Datta Peetha donates 30,000 kg rice to district administration

Mysuru: After Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner appealed donors to help needy with groceries in a Facebook live, recently, City’s Avadhoota Datta Peetha has generously donated 30,000 kg of rice to the district administration.
Sri Avadhootha Datta Peetha seer, Sri Ganapathi Sacchidananda Seer handed over 30,000 kg rice, 3,000 kg tur dal and 3,000 litres of cooking oil to Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Shankar and MCC commissioner Gurudatta Hegde to provide among the needy during lockdown.
On the occasion, the seer lauded the district administration for doing everything in its capacity to fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The seer also called upon the people to rise to the occasion and reach out to the needy.
Deputy commissioner Abhiram G Shankar thanked the Ashram for its contribution.
Ashram’s junior pontiff Datta Vijayananda Seer, Ashram executive officer HV Prasad, Hotel Association State President M Rajendra and Corporation officials were present.
