Covid-19! Alarming 36 new cases take Karnataka’s tally to 789

Bengaluru: The threat of pandemic Coronavirus is growing at an alarming rate with 36 new cases reported in the state on Saturday.

Bengaluru continues to be the red spot with 12 new cases, followed by 10 at Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada, six in Davangere, three each in Chitradurga and Bidar and one in each of Vijayapura and Tumakuru totalling 36 cases.

With this total cases in the state have touched 789. On Friday too, the cases had spiked up by alarming 57 cases in the State.

In Bengaluru, six of the labourers from Bihar at Hongasandra who were already under quarantine have tested positive.

What’s worrying is the emergence of cases at Davangere and Chitradurga in the recent days which were earlier under green zone.
