Bengaluru: In a twist to ‘Me Too’ case involving Sandalwood actor Shruti Hariharan and actor Arjun Sarja, the court has summoned the former actor. Recently actor Shruti had questioned the police filing ‘B’ report in the case. Following this, the Bengaluru 8th ACMM Court has summoned the actor and directed her to provide evidence to the police.
It may be recalled here that in 2018, multi-faceted talented actor Shruti Hariharan had accused popular South Indian actor Arjun Sarja in ‘Me Too’ case. Although the police investigated the case for three years, they, reportedly, did not find any evidence to support her accusations. Hence, the police had filed ‘B’ report to the case in the court.
But actor Shruti Hariharan had questioned the move. Following this, the court has issued summons to the actor to produce evidence to support her accusations.
