Court extends police custody of actress Sanjjanaa Galrani till September 16

Bengaluru: The first ACMM court has extended the police custody of actress Sanjjanaa Galrani arrested on the charges of her links with drug mafia.
The judge who had reserved the order on the plea of central crime branch (CCB) to extend the period of her police custody, ordered extension of police custody till September 16.
Srinivas the advocate appearing for Sanjjanaa had argued against the extension of police custody, on the grounds that she has been arrested without any concrete evidence to prove the charges.
Sanjjanaa was arrested by CCB personnel on September 8 had been remanded in police custody since then.
However, the actress was not disclosing any accurate informationat the time of her interrogation that had turned into a headache for the investigators.
