Countdown starts: Modi to file papers
1 min readVaranasi: Countdown has begun for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to file his nomination for the parliamentary election from Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh. The election is scheduled on May 19.
Modi who was elected from the same seat in 2014 elections, had won by a huge margin of over three lakh votes against Congress’ Ajay Rai.
Modi is expected to file his nomination at 11.30 am. Prior to that he will be addressing the party workers and will be offering prayers later at Kaal Bhairav temple.
