Corporator stages lone protest! Let Shilpa Nag remain as MCC Commissioner, DC Rohini Sindhuri be transferred

Mysuru: Heaping praises on MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag, Corporator Lokesh Piya staged a lone protest demanding the transfer of Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri on Thursday.
Piya who staged a protest holding two different placards in favour of Shilpa Nag and against Rohini Sindhuri, in the portico of MCC said “Shilpa Nag is known for her humanitarian gesture. This was evident when she hugged a mother of a pourakarmika who had died of Covid-19, to console her. Does DC has any such humanitarian gesture? questioned Piya.
Piya demanded that Shilpa Nag be retained as MCC Commissioner and DC Rohini Sindhuri be transferred at the earliest.
Piya raised slogans against Rohini Sindhuri and called the latter as arrogant. The DC should apologise to Shilpa Nag. Both are IAS officers, the Corporator said likening Shilpa Nag to God.
