Corporator distributes free ration at Lakshmipuram

Mysuru: Free ration kits were distributed to the needy people at Ward 49 (Lakshmipuram)in the city.
Corporator Sowmya Umesh of the ward went to the doorsteps of the people and handed over free rice and other essential items. The initiative was taken up under the guidance of MLA and former minister S A Ramadass.
Sowmya Umesh said “It is the responsibility of the people to help those who are in distress at the time of crises that has been created due to Coronavirus. When the government has taken several measures to check, we have to understand our social responsibilities. It’s a way of building the nation”.
BJP leader Umesh was present.
