Coronavirus! Veggies, fruits at your doorstep, MCC initiative

Mysuru: To make it easy for the people facing difficulties during lockdown, Mysuru City Corporation in association with horticulture department has come out with a solution.
On Tuesday Mayor Tasneem flagged off five goods vehicles to sell vegetables and fruits at the doorsteps of the people. MCC which has already taken the initiative to decentralise markets, has launched five vehicles which will go around the city between 7 am and 6 pm.
Mayor Tasneem told Mysoorunews.com, “due to the fear of Covid-19, MCC made special arrangements to sell vegetables to the people of Mysuru. It will benefit people and help in avoiding unnecessary crowd and manage social distance”.
