Coronavirus! SMP Foundation donates Rs one lakh to CM fund, 500 kits to needy

Mysuru: In this hour of lockdown, as many as five hundred families were provided with daily essentials by the City-based SMP Foundation.

The foundation head SM Shivaprakash, a realtor, arranged daily essentials like grocery and vegetables and donated to the families living in Gundurao Nagar, Kesare and Kanakagiri areas.

Speaking to the Mysoorunews.com, Shivaprakash said that “Due to lockdown, many families are struggling to meet the daily needs. This is a crucial time and we are glad that we could help some needy. We have provided kits with daily essentials and vegetables to 500 families.”

The foundation is also planning to distribute groceries and vegetables to civic authorities through District In-charge Minister V Somanna.
It must be noted here that Shivaprakash has also contributed Rs one lakh to the Chief Minister’s relief fund to fight Corona virus.
Shivaprakash had earlier contributed Rs 4 lakh worth items to the flood-hit families in North Karnataka.
