Coronavirus! First positive patient cured, discharged from hospital

Mysuru: The first person P20 who had tested positive for Covid-19 in Mysuru, was was cured and discharged from hospital on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar said that a second sample test was conducted on the patient.
“He was doing good. His quarantine period ended today and was discharged as per procedure by the hospital” DC stated in a release.
Earlier in the day, the deputy commissioner who had hinted at the discharge had said “we are conducting second sample test on him. We hope that the result will be negative”.
With his discharge, the number of cases have come down to 34 in the district.
