Corona Warriors gas delivery boys provided grocery kit, sweet box

Mysuru: Gas delivery boys were given grocery kit and sweet box under the banner of BJP backward classes morcha in the city on Monday.
BJP City president T S Srivatsa distributed the benefits to the gas delivery boys of Parvathi H P Gas Agency near Bharati Convention Hall opposite Friendly Motors in Vidyaranyapuram.
Srivatsa said, “there are about 2,480 such delivery boys working in different agencies in the city irrespective of Bharat Gas, Indane, HP and Sree LPG who have been rendering their service just to ensure that the benefits of both Central and state governments reach the people. When the people are restricted to their houses due to the lockdown in place due to Covid-19, these delivery boys have been rendering their service which should be appreciated by one and all. In Krishnaraja Assembly constituency too, there are about 846 such workers who have been working providing services at Kanakagiri, Gundurao Nagar, Ashokapuram, Bandikeri, T K Layout, Jayanagar and other places. They were provided with grocery kits to help them manage their families”.
Jogi Manju president of BJP backward classes morcha said ” these delivery boys have been risking their lives for the past 43 days only to ensure that the service should not be stopped. They should be added to the list of Corona warriors like doctors, policemen and pourakarmikas.
Former president of BJP city unit Shivakumar, general secretary Somasundar, media co-convener Pradeep Kumar, leaders Ramesh Kurubarahalli, Jayashankar, Sharath, Raju, Prasad and others were present.
