Corona scare! No Trin Trin till March 31 in Mysuru

Mysuru: The growing scare over Coronavirus has now even impacted the health freaks. Trin Trin the public bicycle sharing system has been temporarily suspended up to March 31.
As per the government instructions to stop community mobility service, authorities at Trin Trin have started sending SMS alerts to its registered users across the city, about the suspension of service. There are 52 docking stations and 450 bicycles.
Trin Trin Manager Asha K told Mysoorunews.com “currently there are 14,000 registered users in Mysuru. Everyday around 1,200- 1 500 rides are taken, but after schools and colleges were declared holiday, the number of rides gradually came down by 40 percent. However in the interest of our promoters (users) we have sent nearly 14,000 SMSes about the suspension in service, Asha added.
The system is popular among students and office goers.
