Cops raid rowdy sheeters in Mysuru

Mysuru: The rowdy sheeters had unusual guests knocking on their door, even before they woke up from their bed, on Tuesday.
In an early morning operation, police raided the houses of several rowdy sheeters in the city and conducted their parade. Several weapons were seized, during the raid.
Following the instructions of Police Commissioner Ramesh, the police carried out the raids and the suspected rowdy sheeters were also paraded in Hebbal Police station, for further action.
Around 35 rowdy sheeters were paraded in front of the police commissioner. The rowdy sheeters were warned against involving in any criminal activities.
After Ramesh took charge as the new police commissioner, police have been initiating several measures on law and order and traffic fronts.
Of late, vehicle inspections are being carried out day and night, with a special focus on one police station each day, to rein in the offenders.
