Congress workers protest Yediyurappa’s swear-in as CM

Mysuru: Congress party workers on Saturday condemned the decision of B S Yediyurappa to take oath as the chief minister of the State, despite lacking the support of adequate number of MLAs to prove his strength on the floor of the house.

The party workers led by Mysore District Rural Youth Congress Committee president Mohsin Khan staged a protest near Gandhi Square and termed the decision of Yediyurappa as unconstitutional.

Ever since Congress-JD(S) coalition came into power BJP leaders were making constant efforts to topple the government through ‘Operation Kamala’. Now, they are indulge in horse trading that amounts to murder of democracy.

It is also condemnable on the part of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah who have promised to give corruption free government, are encouraging the State leaders to buy MLAs by offering them crores of rupees.

In the coming days, the people of the State will teach them a fitting lesson.

Youth Congress rural city unit president Raja Rajendra, State secretary Deepak Kumar, district secretary Mahesh D and other leaders participated in the protest.
