Congress not to follow Karnataka model in Haryana?

1 min read

New Delhi: If the recent developments are an indication, Congress wants to wait and watch till a clear picture emerges in Haryana.

The debate earlier was to follow Karnataka model to form its government in alliance in Haryana.

Interim president of Congress Sonia Gandhi is learnt to had directed former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda (In picture above) to take a decision conforming the local conditions.

Hooda was already at it, to seek the support of Jan Nayak Janta Party ( JJP) to form a government to prevent BJP from retaining the power.

BJP is leading in 42 seats, Congress 27, JJP- 12 and others nine, majority of them being Congress rebel candidates.

As the numbers are oscillating, Congress has finally decided to wait till the results of all the seats are out.

The magic number is 46 to cross the half way mark among total 90 seats in Haryana Legislative Assembly.
