Congress to announce first list of probable candidates on March 20

Mysuru: The Congress party is expected to announce its first list of probable candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls on March 20.
KPCC working president Saleem Ahmad told mediapersons here that there were more than expected aspirants in each constituency to contest this year. Hence, the party has decided to announce a first list of probable candidates.
A screening committee is scrutinizing the candidature of all aspirants, he said.
Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi will be on Karnataka tour on March 20. A mega programme has been organized at CPED grounds, Belagavi. Rahul Gandhi will interact with youths, Ahmad added.
