Mysuru: As anticipated, Congress Corporator C Sridhar filed his nomination as deputy mayor candidate. Sridhar represents Ward 38 in MCC.
According to the understanding reached between JD(S) and Congress, JD(S) Corporator Tasleem filed papers as mayor nominee and Sridhar for her deputy. Mayor’s post is reserved for backward classes (A) woman and deputy mayor for SC.
