Mysuru: “Competitions are not to compete with each other; competition is always to explore ourselves,” said Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar, Secretary and Correspondent, Mysore Diocese Educational Society (MDES).

Rev Fr Vijay Kumar who was the chief guest for the Inter- School English Literary Competitions organized by St Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar at its auditorium here on Saturday said “Most of the time we do not know what is hidden, each one of you is hidden treasurers, each child is hidden treasurer only thing is we failed to explore why because we compare always with others. When we compare ourselves with others we will be little ourselves because we assume that is the end and will not go beyond, by comparing ourselves we don’t explore ourselves.  This sort of competition will help us to expose our hidden talents”.

Nearly 100 students from various schools took part in the competition”.
