CM Yediyurappa to receive ‘exit message’ from high command by evening?

1 min read

Belagavi: Amid speculations over change of guard in State, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Sunday said he is expecting a message from high command by evening.

“The moment message is received, you will also come to know and will take a suitable decision after that,” said Yediyurappa while reacting to media queries on his arrival at Sambra Airport in the city.

On the demand for dalit chief minister, Yediyurappa said ” It’s decided by high command, not me. We will take a decision after receiving the message from high command.”

The chief minister who arrived on a day long tour to inspect flood hit areas in the district said ” It’s a good sign that rain has receded in Maharashtra. The situation is expected to improve in four to five days. By God’s grace, the intensity of rain has also reduced in the last two days. I will pray to God.”

Four days ago on July 22, Yediyurappa himself had stated that a message is expected from high command on July 25.

With Yediyurappa again reaffirming the possibility of receiving a message by evening, it appears that the countdown has begun for the imminent exit of Yediyurappa from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
