Mysuru: Disgruntled BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal has kept the heat over the demand for leadership change in the state alive on Monday.

“There may be a delay in the change of chief minister, but the high command is serious about leadership change,” said Yatnal.
Yatnal visited Sri Chamundeshwari Temple atop Chamundi hill and spoke to media persons later.
“Currently, the political system is imbalanced and hence the high command is serious about leadership change,” said Yatnal.
Quoting the epic Mahabharata, Yatnal in a sarcastic tone said “Bhisma and Dronacharya were known for their good personality, but represented Kouravas. Similar is the situation in state BJP.”
Those who are looting state must be punished. Some of them at the helm are involved in corruption and anti-party activities. I pray that the guilty should be punished, said Yatnal.
The guest house behind chief minister’s official residence Cauvery is a deal center. Don’t wait till August 15, change the chief minister immediately because they are looting Rs 100 crore per day, alleged Yatnal referring to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and his son State BJP Vice- president B Y Vijayendra.
It is shameful that the religious heads threatened against any attempts to unseat Yediyurappa. They are only looking at monetary benefits. Those mutt seers interested in politics should come and fight directly. Here the reputation of lingayat community is in danger due to Yediyurappa’s family, Yatnal criticised.
