Mysuru: Former minister and K R Nagar JDS MLA Sa Ra Mahesh on Thursday said “it is not right to change the chief minister at this crucial hour.”
Mahesh told media persons “Across the state people are worried about second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. The experts have already warned about the Covid third wave next and its possible impact. Hence, it is not appropriate to change the chief minister at this juncture.”
The heads of various mutts supporting Yediyurappa is nothing new. Those who share a good rapport with mutts will obviously get support from Swamijis, Mahesh said on the increasing support to Yediyurappa especially from various religious heads.
Recalling his association with BJP before switching over to JDS, Mahesh said “I was in BJP for two decades and shared a good relationship with Yediyurappa.”
Mahesh reiterated that “personally I am against displacing Yediyurappa from the post of chief minister. He must continue to be in the office for remaining term,” Mahesh felt.
