CM Siddaramaiah’s son, former MLA Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah inspects preparations for Gruha Lakshmi launch in Mysuru

Mysuru: Former MLA Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah inspected the final stage of preparations for the launch of Gruha Lakshmi scheme at Maharaja’s College grounds in the city on Sunday.
Dr Yathindra son of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inspected the arrangements with the works undertaken to erect a huge pandal to accommodate estimated two lakhs of people.
Dr Yathindra’s inspection assumes significance with his father Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arriving in the city on Monday on a three day tour of Mysuru district.
After Siddaramaiah became the Chief Minister for a second term in May, it is also for the first time that such a mammoth event is being organised in the city and hence the ruling Congress party leaders are leaving no stone unturned to ensure success of Gruha Lakshmi event in Mysuru.
Former Mayor Pushpalatha T B Chikkanna, former Zilla Panchayat President K Marigowda, personal secretary of CM Siddaramaiah, Kumar and President of Mysuru District Congress Rural Committee Dr B J Vijaykumar and others were present.
