CM Siddaramaiah inaugurates Gandhi statue at Veer Soudha, Belagavi

Belagavi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the premises of Veera Soudha, marking the inauguration of two-day Centenary celebrations of 1924 Belagavi Congress Session Chaired by Mahatma Gandhiji in the city.

During the event, organised under the slogan- Jai Bapu, Jai Bheem and Jai Samvidhan, by KPCC, CM Siddaramaiah inaugurated a photo gallery dedicated to Mahatma Gandhiji, by symbolically running the charkha to mark the occasion.
Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated an exhibition and stalls showcasing products created by women’s self-help groups.

Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, Chairman of 1924 Congress Session Centenary Committee M Veerappa Moily, Ministers H K Patil, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, former Minister R V Deshpande, Mysuru District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa and others were present.
