CM meets industry leaders to discuss Karnataka Tech Summit 2025

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday held a high-level meeting with leading industry captains, startup founders and technology experts to review preparations for the upcoming Karnataka Tech Summit 2025, scheduled to be held in Bengaluru, from November 18 to 20.
The meeting, convened at Vidhana Soudha, brought together representatives from the IT, biotechnology, electronics and emerging technology sectors. The Chief Minister emphasised the State Government’s commitment to making the summit a global platform for innovation, investment, and collaboration.
“We want Karnataka Tech Summit 2025 to showcase the state’s leadership in technology and our vision for a sustainable, digital future. This event should attract the brightest minds and create opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, and industries,” the CM said during the discussions.
Officials from the Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology, and Science & Technology presented updates on the summit’s theme, expected foreign delegations, and planned sessions. Industry leaders shared suggestions to enhance global participation, strengthen research-industry linkages, and highlight Karnataka’s success stories in AI, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.
The Chief Minister assured full government support for infrastructure, security, and facilitation of international delegates. He also instructed departments to explore public-private partnerships to host innovation showcases and talent competitions during the summit.
The Karnataka Tech Summit 2025 is expected to witness participation from over 30 countries, with more than 1,000 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors. It will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, B2B networking sessions, and startup pitch events aimed at fostering cross-border collaborations.
