CM has told to act tough on drug mafia: District minister Somashekar

Mysuru: Cooperation and district incharge minister S T Somashekar on Saturday said “Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has instructed the officials to act tough in relation to drug mafia”.
Somashekar told media persons, the arrest of cinema star Ragini Dwivedi in relation to the case is not considered as a damage to our party.
Calling former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy’s comments as baseless, Somashekar said “when they were in power they had every right to curb drug mafia”.
In Mysuru also, Somashekar said that he will be conducting district level meeting to discuss the drug related issues.
Dasara High Power Committee meeting is scheduled on September 8 in Bengaluru. It’s only after the meeting we will most likely get a clear picture of Dasara celebration. While the executive committee meeting will be convened in Mysuru, Somashekar said.
