Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiaah has called Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, an immature person, who lacks political maturity.
Reacting to MP Simha’s statements that both Congress and BJP leaders were indulging in adjustment politics, CM Siddaramaiah dared the journalist-turned MP to reveal the names of those leaders who are indulging in adjustment politics.
“MP Simha is very immature and speaks whatever comes to his mind. He claims that he was responsible for the ten-lane Expressway. Is he the MP of Bengaluru road,” he questioned. “I don’t speak to Opposition leaders and do not visit their homes when in power. Whenever we catch up it’s only a courtesy call and never about politics,” CM Siddaramaiah said.
If MP Simha knows about leaders indulging in adjustment politics let him give their names. “If he wants to complain to the governor, let him,” he challenged.
On MP Simha’s charges that the “Pay CM” allegations actually came from the BJP, CM retorted back. “No one asked us to do inquiry on it. It is left to us to carry out investigation on these charges,” he added.
