CM announces Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to Hassan accident victims kin

Mandya: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday announced Rs two lakh ex-gratia to the next of the kin of nine killed in accident in Hassan district.

Bommai who landed at Ambigarahalli in K R Pet taluk in the district to attend the valedictory of Maha Kumba Mela, told media persons, “after Kumbha Mela I will be going to Hassan and speak to the victims family members. I have already instructed the officials to provide Rs two lakh compensation to each”.

CM also made a mockery of Siddaramaiah saying that his all predictions are turning out to be a damp squib.

“Once Siddaramiah said we will return to power but Congress was able to win only 79 seats in the elections. Siddaramaiah had also predicted that B S Yediyurappa won’t become the CM again, but Yediyurappa became the Chief Minister. Same thing will happen in the next election”, added CM exuding confidence that Siddaramaiah’s predictions will fail again.

Lambasting All India Congress Committee former President Rahul Gandhi for levelling allegations that Karnataka State government is indulge in scams, CM said “We are prepared to expose Congress government with substantiating documents about the scams during its tenure”.
