City girl Lishika wins gold and silver in First Karnataka State Roller Skating Championship

Mysuru: City girl Lishika clinched gold and silver medals in First Karnataka State Roller Skating Championship held at Shidlaghatta in Chikkaballapur on July 15 and July 16.
She participated in 9-11 age group category and in the quad road one lap category, Lishika claimed the gold medal. Additionally, she earned the silver medal in the 100-meter event.
Lishika is the proud daughter of Sampath Kumar, a two-wheeler mechanic, and Sandhya, a homemaker. She is currently studying in Class V at Teresian School. She represented the Elite Roller Skating Association. Association’s Adithya Rao and Uma are the mentors of Lishika.
The management of Teresian School and the Elite Association have lauded Lishika for her remarkable achievement.
