Mysuru: A continuous inter-professional education ( CIPE) program on ‘ Upper Airway Health’ was organised at JSS Dental College and Hospital in the city on Saturday.
It was organised in association with centre for continuous learning and professional excellence and special clinic ‘ Breathe Healthy’ of JSS Hospital.
About 90 delegates from different specialities- ENT, paediatrics, orthodontics and paediatric dentist attended the programme.
A normal upper airway health is very important for optical development of face and jaws for a growing child. An abnormal airway health would lead to mouth breathing, snoring, sleep apnea etc., among children.
Dr Manjunatha B Registrar of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research ( JSS- AHER) inaugurated the programme. Dr Prashanth V, coordinator, JSS AHER presided.
