Chandrayaan 3: CM Siddaramaiah visits ISRO Centre, honours scientists for the historic success

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah celebrated the success of historic event of Chandrayaan 3 by honouring the scientists at the Indian Space Research Centre (ISRO) in Bengaluru on Thursday.

He felicitated ISRO chief S Somanath by presenting him with a Mysore Peta, traditional garland and some sweets. He honoured other scientists and shared sweets with them too.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah spent quite a few moments at the ISRO centre sharing his joy over the success of the mission. He lauded the efforts of the scientists for making the whole world to sit up and take note of India’s moon mission.

On August 23, India’s lunar mission, Chandrayaan 3 was a historic success. India became the first country to land near the South Pole and fourth country to soft-land on the surface of the Moon.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was accompanied by Minister Boseraju, Chief Secretary Vanditha Sharma and others.
