Mysuru: As the lander Vikram did a soft landing on moon at 6.04 pm, ecstatic crowd that had gathered at Agrahara Circle (N Madhava Rao Circle) in Mysuru joined the whole nation in celebrating the feat of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Chandrayaan 3 Mission.

Team Mysuru a voluntary organisation had arranged the live screening of Chandrayaan 3 Mission at the corner of the busy circle.

The people with curiosity writ large on their face, watched as Vikram started descending on the moon. Patriotic spirit ran high as some of them waved National flag as Vikram started inching towards moon, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi appearing on the screen on one side, with the team of scientists at ISRO led by their Director S Somanath on the other side.

As the final moment came with Vikram touching down on the moon, the crowd went gaga and rendered slogans like- Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram.

A painting of the Chandrayaan 3 on the surface in front of the screen, gave artistic touch to the defining moment of space research, that puts India in the top league.
