Mysuru: Chandan Kumar of Nanjangud won the elections as District President of Mysuru District Rural Youth Congress Committee.
Chandan, a staunch follower of Congress Minority Committee, District President Mohsin Kumar, secured over 3,650 votes against his nearest rival Sampath Kumar of Varuna Assembly constituency, in the elections to Congress office-bearers held in August- September 2014, according to the results announced on the website of All India Youth Congress Committee.
