Chamarajanagar oxygen tragedy! Kichcha Sudeep Trust distributes grocery kits to victims kin

Mysuru: Kiccha Sudeep Trust of actor Sudeep distributed grocery kits to the families of 24 people who died in Oxygen tragedy in Chamarajanagar recently.

The representatives of the Trust met all those families and distributed groceries to meet the requirements for one month.

They also collected details of the children and their education status. The Trust is ready to arrange facilities related to their education in Bengaluru if children aspire to study in the capital city.

Trust has also assured to provide permanent facilities to lead a hassle free life. The first phase survey of the all 24 families is completed and more information has been collected about distraught families.

Ramesh Kitti and Somanayaka of the Trust said “We are ready to provide necessary steps to help the family members of victims of Oxygen tragedy.”

Jyothi of Bisalwadi village who lost her husband in the incident said “while the government omitted my husband’s name from the list of victims, the Trust helped with needy groceries and assured to provide help for children’s education.”

It may be mentioned that, following the disruption in oxygen supply 23 patients died in Chamarajanagar District Covid Hospital, while another died in a hospital in Kamagere, all within 24 hours in April.
