Mysuru: Sandalwood actor Challenging Star Darshan Thoogudeepa took part in the 80th birthday celebration of Avadhoota Datta Peeta Seer Sri Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji in the city on Thursday.
Darshan who called on the seer at Sri Avadhoota Datta Peeta garlanded and took blessings.
Darshan who is an avid bird and animal lover had previously visited Shuka Vana at the Ashram. Shuka Vana has a vast collection of exotic birds and is one of the prominent tourist attractions in the city.
As a blessing, Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji had gifted Darshan a bird.
