CCB cops seize drugs worth Rs 24 crore in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In a prize catch, Central Crime Branch (CCB) police busted a drug racket, by seizing 15 kg MDMA Crystal drugs worth Rs 24 crore.
A woman, hailing from Nigeria, settled in T C Palya, K R Puram in the city has been arrested in the case.
The accused was running a shop meant for foreign nationals, but was peddling drugs. She was receiving the substance from the main supplier in Mumbai, in the packets of food grains and was selling to foreigners, software professionals and college students, it is learnt.
The CCB Anti-Narcotic Squad that raided the shop, has also seized 70 SIM cards and a cell phone, that points fingers at the extent of drug operators network.
The seizure of drugs ahead of new year bash on December 31, has kept the Police on their toes.
