CCB cops rescue four cattles on Mysuru- Bengaluru highway

Mysuru: City crime branch (CCB) police rescued four cattles being transported to a slaughter house in the city. A person has been arrested in this regard.
Acting on a tip off, CCB personnel intercepted a goods auto near Dandina Maramma Temple on Mysuru- Bengaluru road on March 25.
The rescued included two cows and two oxen calves. They were being transported to a slaughter house in Kesare.
The case has been registered at N R police station.
The CCB team included Inspector A Mallesh, ASIs Raju, Joseph Noronha and Subhanulla, who acted under the guidance of DCP (Crime and Traffic) Geetha Prasanna and ACP C K Ashwath Narayan.
