1 min read

Mysuru: The pandemic Coronavirus has struck the world and this was aptly recreated in an artistic way in the heart of the city.

Prasanna an alumnus of Government College of Visual Arts ( Chamaraja Academy of Visual Arts) recreated the current scenario with the model of a mortal remains in coffin with the rotund model of Covid-19 in his hand.

While the tiny models of the virus all strewn around the coffin with a man wearing a mask staring helplessly, represented the situation at present which still looks grimy.

It was a part of awareness created by Prasanna using ‘illustration art’ in front of Dufferin Clock Tower, popularly known as Chikkagadiyara. The slogan was ‘Stay Home, Save world”.

Prasanna said “all the corona warriors are fighting Covid, and hence citizens should avoid unnecessary movements and manage social distance. Home is the best and safe place so please stay at home and save the world”, he said.

Hundreds of curious passersby who stopped to catch a glimpse of illustration art, also applauded Prasanna.
