CAT stays Bandipur Director’s transfer

Bengaluru: The Central Administrative Tribunal has put a stay on the transfer of Ramesh Kumar P, Director of Bandipur National Tiger Reserve, on Friday.
Ramesh Kumar was transferred on August 28 and S Prabhakaran, a 2011 batch IFS officer, had assumed the office on August 30.
The CAT order issued on Friday has now stayed the transfer of Ramesh Kumar and the next hearing is scheduled for September 26.
Ramesh Kumar was serving as Conservator of Forests and Director of Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Following allegations of alleged misappropriation of funds, Ramesh Kumar was transferred.
