CAR police constable ends life at Varuna lake

Mysuru: A police constable committed suicide by allegedly jumping into Varuna lake near Varuna on Mysuru- T Narsipur road on Saturday.
Mohan M attached to bomb squad is the deceased person. He was with City Armed Reserve ( CAR) police wing.
On Saturday morning, passersby noticed a body in the lake and informed police. Later Varuna police who rushed to the spot shifted the body to KR Hospital mortuary.
A motorcycle of Mohan was found parked on the road side near the lake.
According to police sources, Mohan was a native of Nagamangala in Mandya. He joined the service in 2008 and was serving in the bomb detection squad since then.
The reason for his death is not known.
He is survived by his parents, wife and a five year old kid.
