Mysuru: Former prime minister and JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda has alluded at the changes in current political scenario in the State after by- elections.

Gowda who was in the city before proceeding towards Hunsur to campaign for ensuing  by- elections said “The politics in Karnataka can also take any turn after the elections. But, it all depends on interim president of Congress Sonia Gandhi”.

“The recent development in Maharashtra where the four day old BJP- NCP government demitted office and Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress are forming the government in coalition shows that ‘Politics is like flowing water and things can change anytime”.

In Karnataka people will decide the fate of disqualified MLAs seeking re- election. While in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, the political life of such MLAs is in jeopardy.

On the recent overtures of BJP candidate A H Vishwanath who is of late praising Gowda and also former chief minister Siddaramaiah, Gowda said “Vishwanath is a seasoned politician who knows how to reap political benefits”.
