Mysuru: Writer Krishne Gowda the police head constable of T Narsipur police station accused in bullet missing case has been remanded to judicial custody.

T Narasipura police who had arrested Gowda produced him at taluk court, where the judge sent him to judicial custody.

Following the incident, as the 50 bullets had gone missing from the armoury of the station, SP C B Ryshyanth had formed a special investigation team to crack the mystery behind it. Additional SP P V Sneha is the investigation officer.

As only 20 of the total 50 bullets were traced from Kapila river in Nanjangud recently, the probe team is investigating the case, sources told Mysoorunews.com

According to sources Gowda wanted to fix his higher officer in the case. As the plans went awry, he faked his suicide attempt by jumping into river. However he had swam to other side of the shore only to escape in a vehicle later.

However his luck ran out, when his ulterior motive was busted by the probe team.
