‘Buddhivantha’ of Mysuru cons four women, arrested by Bengaluru police

Bengaluru: ‘Buddhivantha’! Real Star Upendra’s runaway hit movie in Kannada revolves around the hero and the women he cons, but claims ‘Nanavanalla’ ( I am not the one…)

A real case having a tad resemblance has been reported with the accused from Mysuru arrested by RMC Yard police from Bengaluru.

N R Ganesh alias Vikram, 45 years, had married four women Savita, Gayatri, Lalita and Asha, all in 15 years. The first wife is Savita and the recent was Asha.

Savita is a garment worker in Bengaluru, whom he married 15 years ago. Seven years later, he married Gayatri and the couple also have a son. Gayatri from Madikeri  was staying with Ganesh in Mysuru.

Interestingly, Ganesh was looking for gullible brides, especially physically- challenged and widows, on matrimonial websites and it was how he zeroed in on Lalita from Yashwanthpur in Bengaluru.

A software engineer by profession Lalita was working along with her husband in USA. Lalita lost her husband in a mishap, that also rendered her physically challenged. She returned to Bengaluru and was staying with her aged mother and daughter.

Unaware of Ganesh’s previous marriages, Lalita married him in 2018. However, it was the tricky behaviour of Ganesh that forced Lalita to suspect her husband. He was splurging on the valuables of his wife and mother in law and the duo lodged a complaint at RM Yard police station.

Even after marrying Lalita, he married another woman Asha whom he met on a matrimony site.

RMC Yard police suspect he may have married more women and the victims can lodge complaints.
