Brutal murder! Man jailed for life for stabbing his wife 27 times

Mysuru: The Fifth Additional District and Sessions court Judge G K Kuruvatti handed life sentence to a man who brutally killed his wife in 2016. The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 55,000.
The accused Gopala had married Deepa in 2008 and the couple has a son, Ramalinga. Gopala was alcoholic and used to torment his wife for money making her life miserable. He left his family in 2012 but continued to harass them whenever he visited them.
On August 16, 2016, he stabbed Deepa at her parents house. He stabbed her 27 times with a knife killing her on the spot.
A case was registered at Vidyaranyapuram police station
