Mysuru: Over 450 pre-university students from more than 35 colleges in and around Mysuru participated in Brain Bytes 2023, a quiz competition organised by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, at its premises in Bogadi, Mysuru on Friday.

The Chief Guest of the day, Dr B Appaji Gowda, a retired Professor of Botany, addressed the students.

In his address, Dr Appaji Gowda emphasised the significance of quiz competitions in today’s educational landscape.

Quiz competitions, he stated, help students to think critically and apply their knowledge effectively.

The quiz competition was held with the aim of preparing students to meet the demands of an ever-changing competitive world, in addition to helping them break the monotony of their everyday academic routine.
