Voting will be held from 8 am to 4 pm on that day, said Veda Brahma Dr Bhanuprakash Sharma, who is contesting for the post of President.
Already, representatives of Dr Bhanuprakash Sharma’s team supported by the outgoing President and advocate Ashok Haranahalli have been elected unopposed in 11 districts.
Speaking at a press conference, Dr Bhanuprakash Sharma said that there are more than 64,000 voters across the State, out of which more than 34,000 are in Bengaluru city.
“This election is important in the context of strengthening the organisation and every member should vote without fail,” he appealed to voters.
Voting will also be held for the election of divisional representatives along with the president.
The voting for Bengaluru South will be held at APS College, NR Colony.
Voters from Bengaluru (North) can exercise their rights at Sri Chandrashekhar Bharathi Kalyana Mantapa, Shankarapuram, Pampa Mahakavi Road.
Voters from Bengaluru Central, Rural and Ramanagara can exercise their rights at Sri Raya Raya Kalyana Mantapa
No. 88, Pampa Mahakavi Road.
The voting for Kolar will be held at Sri Gayatri Prayer Hall, PC Layout, Kolar, he explained.
He explained that Anekal, Uttarahalli and other layouts are considered as Bengaluru South, Rajarajeshwarinagar layout is considered as Bengaluru Central constituency and Yelahanka area is considered as Bengaluru North.
He said that Hoskote, Doddaballapur, Devanahalli and Nelamangala are considered Bengaluru rural.
“In addition to Bengaluru, voting will be held simultaneously in many parts of the state, including Mysuru, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Koppal, Raichur, Hubblli, Davangere, Shivamogga, Kundapura, Mangaluru, Chikkamagaluru, Koppa and Tumkur,” he explained.
